02.10.2024: USD asserts strength as investors give... (ar)

At the end of the first trading week of October, markets found themselves under a crossfire. On the one hand, global investors are overwhelmed by concerns, awaiting new economic reports, especially regarding the US labor market.

On the other hand, investors are shifting funds into safe-haven assets because the escalation of conflict in the Middle East has flared up with new intensity. Besides, the oil market literally exploded as soon as the first reports of Iran’s missile attack on Israel were released.
